Lake Dunmore in Salisbury & Leicester Vermont
. Lake Dunmore is a beautiful pristine lake over 983 acres, 3 mi long from tip to tip and 1 mi wide at its broadest point. It is a fantastic fishery ,home to numerous species of fish including landlock salmon ,bass, pike, perch, lake,rainbow & brown trout, The lake is used by countless swimmers, paddlers, water skiers and tubers. Wildlife galore also make Lake Dunmore their home. Dunmore along with its sister lake,Fern to the south have formed a very strong and active Lake Association
Here I am fishing on the lake out of my kayak.
Here is a picture of some successful ice fisherman with their catch. Ice fishing is a very popular activity on the lake. Species range from Salmon to bass to pike & perch.
When the conditions are right we ski on the lake in the winter behind a truck instead of a boat!
